PFLAG held its the 3rd annual Queens and Cocktails Fundraiser in Columbia, Md. PFLAG is a national nonprofit organization with 400 chapters. They have it as their mission to support, educate and advocate for the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender people and their family and friends. It was a pleasure to be there with such thrilling performers.
Harbor East’s annual fashion event FashionEASTa hosted by Mayor Catherine Pugh showcases the area’s curated designer shops in a fun, festive outdoor event. I snuck behind the scenes for all the bustling energy with models and stylists. I was the official event photographer and made my way through the excited crowds to the runway for a front row view of killer styles.
Not only does my daughter attend The Baltimore School for the Arts, but I get the opportunity to photograph the budding talent of this Baltimore City Arts Charter School. The Nutcracker is an annual BSA event that has been held for X years. The dance students showcase their hard work and dedication to their craft, there are even some faculty performers.
This women’s only event in celebration of International Women’s Day March 8th, 2018 was co-hosted by Carleen Goodridge of Le Monade and myself. Not only were wonderful women gathered together in unity and bond but the event benefited Pivot Baltimore, a non-profit that connects women released from the corrections system with critical services needed to reclaim their lives, rejoin their families and reinvigorate their communities.
The March 8th International Women’s Day Cocktail Event benefiting PIVOT was a huge success. Women came together in peace and unity to connect and listen. It was a beautiful thing to hear the loud chatter of conversations, many who were meeting each other for the first time. The space was inviting, the food delicious, and the cocktails divine. Myself and Carleen Goodridge of Le MONADE hosted with support from event designer Giulietta Pinna of Limonata Creative and a bevy of women-owned businesses as our sponsors. It was truly magical.

Women artisans local to Baltimore City were invited to participate in this upscale Holiday season market. Champagne was on hand and bites from La Cuchara made the night extra special. My studio was turned into a craft wonderland with flowers and fauna from Mobtown Florals, a balloon installation courtesy of The Sentimental Fools Events and gathering space designers by Limonata Creative.
